Filipinos make up 4% of the nation’s Nurse workforce, but they represent a staggering 31.5% of Covid-related deaths. Our Union sister Celia Marcos was one of the many Filipino-American Nurses who succumbed to the virus, after getting sick at work. Her story is included in this report from The Mercury News.
